Nuclear fusion

If scientists can develop a practical way to achieve sustained nuclear fusion, it could potentially provide a nearly limitless source of clean energy, with little to no carbon emissions or other environmental impacts. However, achieving this goal has proven difficult, and significant technical and scientific challenges remain before commercial-scale nuclear fusion power plants can become a reality.

Tenedos #001: predicting the shape of proteins, next-generation chips, nuclear fusion, new photos of Jupiter

This week we talk about (1) how artificial intelligence has been able to solve the previously unsolved problem of predicting the shape of proteins, (2) Google’s new algorithm, (3) next-generation chips, (4) Elon Musk’s new ambitions for Starlink (5) nuclear fusion as a new territory of conquest, and finally (6) the stunning new photos of the planet Jupiter.
